An eBay scammer is sending re-direct files via 2 methods.

The scammer is also apparently sending intended victims to fake eBay pages and a fake eBay live chat area using the name Samuel A.

He is sending intended victims to the site:
http://www.kodak-slideshows.com/
It forwards people to the real Kodak site unless you are directed to the viewer download page.
(image below)
The download page is only available via email from the scammer.
The fake site is a spoof of the real Kodak slideshow site located at:
http://www.kodakgallery.com/gallery/welcome.jsp

The other method he is using is to send a file attachment via emails named pictures.zip which contains the file pictures.exe

NEVER open files from strangers, especially .exe files.
Its a program which takes over control of your browser and re-directs you to a fake eBay listing on another site.
Here is a fix, provided it is a host file, browser hijack problem:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034/EN-US

I'm surprised this site hasn't come to anyone's attention before now.
The domain was created:
   Domain Name: KODAK-SLIDESHOWS.COM

   Expiration Date: 21-jul-2012

Here is a reference to the scammer using the site for a 1980 Ferrari.

The scammer is selling a Ford F150 and using the email address:
fremaxami@yahoo.com
Here is what he is telling intended victims:

Hi, sorry I didn't reply earlier, I had to leave urgently on a business trip to Canada. The truck is still available!

I had a buyer, but the deal fell through because he didn't get his loan approved. I am still interested to sell and I am willing to let it go for less as long as we get this done faster.

I have also attached a few pictures of the truck, check them out.

(DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHED FILE !!!!!!)

Let me know if you are still interested. Thanks!

I've relisted the truck on eBay.

Right now I'm in Canada on a business trip and unfortunately forgot my cell at home, so it's best to email me. The truck is back home, but shipping is already paid, because my first buyer changed his mind after I have made the arrangements to ship the car. The trucking company would not refund me but can ship it to anywhere within continental US, so I've left it at their warehouse and it's ready to ship at anytime.

Item# is 170515682914, you can search for it on eBay
Buy it now price: $9,000

Title is clear! There are no problems with the vehicle whatsoever!

If you want it, you can use the "Buy It Now" option on eBay. This way our transaction will be protected by eBay. You will have to make the payment as a bank transfer, you'll find details on the auction page. However, if you request it, eBay will lock my bank account so I will not have access to the money you send me for the car until you inspect it and approve it. I'm OK with that too.

It's in Oregon, but shipping is free. Mileage is 59k.
Just to get a perfect idea of how this vehicle looks like and its awesome condition, I have uploaded some new pics on Kodak. Feel free to check them out:
http://www.kodak-slideshows.com/ (edited to remove location of the actual page containing the kodakviewer.exe file, image of it below) The domain is used to forward users to the real Kodak site.
I am selling because I need the money fast. Like I said I had a buyer and I was counting on the sale but he sort of backed out.
The car will not be available for inspection in OR, because it's at the shippers warehouse. However on eBay you can either place a lock on my account or you can opt for an eBay agent that will hold your money secure until you receive and approve the car. Basically you'll be able to inspect the car yourself before "giving up" the money.   So if you're serious about this thing please go ahead and use the "Buy it Now" option on eBay. I would love to get this done asap, even today if possible.
Here is a picture of the fake page which prompts you to click on the installer for the scammer's file:

This text has been edited to remove the names of the owners and an employee of the real company that the scammers stole material from for their fake site.
You'll notice the scammers used the term "Londra" in the text below.
Londra is the word Romanians use to refer to London.

Online Yard Sales A different kind of service
Online Yard Sales stores specialize in online consignment sales for individuals, businesses, and non-profit groups. We sell your items for you on eBay,Craigslist and other free marketplaces and send you a check in the mail. Our sales strategy and reputation for selling high quality merchandise, combined with excellent customer service, keeps both buyers and sellers coming back again and again. Our services are available all over United States, Canada and United Kingdom and we plan on extending our business to Europe.
Our flagship store and headquarters are located at 1100 Dexter Av North, Seattle, WA 98109. Our mission is to help the people and communities where our stores are located by providing a fun, efficient and secure way to sell valuables online.
Online Yard Sales stores sell quality merchandise online in the rapidly growing eBay and Craigslist. As of November, 2009, there were over 211 million registered users on eBay, trading over $1,400 worth of goods around the world every second.
Online Yard Sales stores specialize in online consignment services for businesses, individuals, and non-profit groups. The original store opened in Londra, United Kingdom in December, 2008 to help people sell their quality merchandise in the eBay marketplace and later in 2009 we exteded our market in United States and Canada and selling on Craigslist besides eBay.. Online Yard Sales stores makes it easy by doing all the work and sending the seller a check in the mail. Franchise opportunities are now available for people interested in opening their own Online Yard Sales Stores eBay drop-off store.
Online Yard Sales stores was cofounded by XXXXX and XXXXX in December, 2008. XXX and XXX had both recently finished their landscaping seasons, and and were pondering what the future had in store. They were buying and selling on eBay just for fun when a mutual friend stopped by one day and asked them to sell some musical equipment for him. He offered them a percentage of the sales, and after several successful eBay listings and a few dollars in their pockets the idea was born.
Online Yard Sales stores was started with a 400 pounds investment and a 10 pounds ad in The Seven Days local weekly newspaper. That first spring and summer every weekend was spent at garage sales searching for items to sell on eBay. Sales and advertising steadily increased, and by the fall of 2009 they had enough people coming through the door to keep them busy around the clock. The Company has now sold millions of dollars worth of merchandise on eBay and Craigslist, and runs one of the largest drop-off stores in the country. In 2009 alone, the Company sent over $250,000 worth of checks to Seattle sellers.
The first Online Yard Sales stores employee, XXXXXX, was hired in February, 2009 to write auctions and perform client intakes, and a second employee was added in April, 2009 to pack and ship boxes. Over the year the Company has fine tuned their consignment system, streamlined store operations, and developed a custom software program. The principals have formed Online Yard Sales Stores, LLC to start the process of offering franchise opportunities to other entrepreneurs.
Step 1: Buyer and Seller Agree to Terms.
Both parties agree to terms of the transaction, which includes a description of the item, sale price, number of days for the Buyer's inspection, and any other information. After all terms are discussed and agreed by all parties, the Buyer must register with Online Yard Sales and start a transaction. After all the information requested in the Registration Form are submitted, Online Yard Sales will analyze them and after the seller confirms that they are accurate, Online Yard Sales will send an invoice to the buyer with the transaction details and payment instructions. The registration is free.

Step 2: Sending the Payment.
The payment must be sent to Online Yard Sales by following the exact instructions specified in the invoice. Once the payment is sent to Online Yard Sales and verified by our Financial Department, we will start the shipping process and will notify you by email about any change or progress of the transaction.

Step 3: Shipping and Inspection.
When the item is received, the buyer has a 10 day money back guarantee available to verify if the item is exactly as described. During this period the buyer can decide if the item will be returned or not. If the item is not as expected, we will return the item with no cost for the buyer and will refund the payment in full. The seller will be responsible for all the fees if that is the case. If the item is received as expected and accepted, we will send the payment to the seller and make the necessary paperwork so we can close the transaction.

Although we sell on eBay and Craigslist, these marketplaces are different and our selling policy is different. Check out Selling on Craigslist...
Is your item too large to bring into our Store?

Here is what Jennifer posted:

to sale-6sz2m-2055226267@craigslist.orgNov 11
i wanted to know how many miles it has? and where its located?

Hello ,
My name is Janice Rallston I am emailing you regarding the 1999 Audi A4 Turbo Quattro that I have for sale.My car is in perfect condition , with no need for additional repairs, no scratches, dings, special marks whatsoever, never been involved in any accidents. The interior looks great (NO SMOKING). It has 99,487 miles , Manual transmission , 4 Cylinder Engine, gasoline. I have a clear and clean title for it , no liens or loans ready to be signed and notarized on your name.I'm selling my son's car, who died in Iraq four months ago and I want to get rid of it asap because the sight of it makes me think of him often and often and the pain is too great .Put yourself in my shoes and you'll do the same (selling the car of your dead son, no offence)As you probably noticed , the final price that i want for this car is $1,900.00 if you will buy it today or tomorrow .
Let me know where are you located and any other details you need about it.
My best wishes,
janice ralstone
Nov 12
well janice im sorry to hear about your loss, im a mother myself, i cannot imagine losing my daughter, your family is very brave. I live in bloomington, california but my husband would be the one picking up the car if we were to buy it, where are you located?

Thanks for getting back with me,
The car is at the shipping company in Salt Lake City ready for shipping. I have a contract with eBay so this deal must go through them, being the safest for both of us. Let me explain how it works:
First of all I will need your full name and shipping address so I can register the transaction with eBay. Once you receive the details from eBay, the car will be reserved for you until you read the details and decide if you want to proceed or not. You will have a 7 days inspection period, after the car arrives at your address to make sure it is as shown in the photos and in good working order. If by any reason the car is not as described or if you find any problems with it, I will arrange to ship it back on my cost.
eBay will hold the funds until the inspection period is over and you decide if you're going to buy it or not. This way you're not going to pay for something you haven't seen and with the inspection period you can make sure it's as described.
If you agree with this terms please reply with your full name and address so we can get the ball rolling.
Wait you answer asap
Nov 12
my husband would like to contact you is there a number we can call?

Hello,
I have just moved here and I don't have a phone as I am still waiting the green light for my personal documents as a resident here. I am not allowed to install a phone or to buy a mobile one without those papers.
Thank you
Nov 13
what is the ebay auction number
and how will we go about doing this?

The car is not listed on ebay we are just using there services for a fast and safe transaction for both of us.
Nov 13 :) You should go the nearest office of western union with $ 1,900 and put money on the name of the agent was chosen to represent the transaction from our ebay Well as you know i recieved a so called invoice. I have seen the money transfer warning and had gotten the idea to find that car on ebay since they said it was what they used. i came up with an ebay listing for that car with the same pictures but it was in CT at a parts shop for 7,900.00 buy it now. i contacted the auction already about the craigslist posting which im confident they know nothing about.

4 Front Furniture’s site hacked by scammers

4 Front Furniture

Unit D2 Harbet Road
Lee Valley Trading Estate
Edmonton, London
N18 3QR

Has been hacked by scammers using a Google Checkout scam at:
http://www.4ff.co.uk/images/icons/site/index.html

This could be due to an insecure password used by the company or the scammers got one of the employees to answer a phishing email which discloses the user name and passwords of the site.

Here are images of the fake site nested amongst the files of the legitimate site:

Here is some text from the fake site:

  • A person or entity desiring to purchase vehicles from a Seller, by use of Google Checkout for completing the purchase, shall be referred to as "Buyer".
  • The use of Google Checkout (by the Buyer and Seller) for performing a single protected transfer of ownership title shall be referred to as a "Transaction".
2. Instructions and Deposit of Funds into Google Checkout
  • Once the Buyer and Seller agree on these General Google Checkout Instructions, these instructions shall constitute a binding contract between all parties. Google Checkout covers the buyers who complete a transaction against the following types of deliberate and material misrepresentation by the Seller:

  • Paying for and receiving a vehicle:
    • that was a stolen vehicle at the time of the transaction
    • with an undisclosed or unknown lien against its title
    • a make and/or model that is different than what was described in the Seller's listing

http://www.payment-support-department-inc.com/  FAKE FRAUD SCAM

Scammer is using the email:
ebay@payment-support-department-inc.com

I received this information from an intended victim:

This 2002 GMC Yukon Denali AWD with 93.060 miles, has no leaks or drips and has never been smoked in. This truck has been extremely well maintained with a full service history .I am the second owner of this truck.I bought it when I was serving in Fort Lauderdale and is slightly used in 100% working and looking conditions with a clear title free of encumbrances and liens.
I have dropped my price to $2800.00 since I need to sell it before 16 November, when I will be deployed in Afghanistan with my platoon replacing the troops scheduled to come home.
If you're interested to conclude this purchase in a timely manner email me your; FULL NAME and SHIPPING ADDRESS PHONE NUMBER to open a case with eBay's Buyer Protection Program and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure. The financial part will be managed by them, which means that you will have a 7 days inspection period before committing to buy the vehicle. In this way both, buyer and seller are 100% covered during the steps of this transaction.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Corporal Cole Hudson

The real reason the price is $2800 is because Western Union and MoneyGram have a limit of $3000 for transactions.
The price plus fees will be under that amount.
