We have a problem with harassment from a blog

We have a website for roof repairs and construction work. There is a guy out there, that has a blog, netscammers.blogspot, who is claiming to catch scammers and fraudsters. One day, like 4 people told us they have found os online but they think that we are scammers. when we searched the address of our website on google, first result was a posting from this guy stating that we are scammers. We contacted this person, called no_muie, and he said that we need to pay him in order to get removed. He asked for 300 pounds. We paid and he removed us. All the bad results disappeared from google. Now, he is back. He asks for more money from us, or else. We are desperate, we don't know what to do. We have many customers and companies that we work with, what if this guy comes back with the postings. We don't want to pay him more money, he will just keep on asking if we just pay. Please, help us, we can pay you to help us get rid of this troll. contact us . Thank you very much.

What a scumbag. If I knew how to help you I would. I tried reporting the blog for defemation, but there's a statement from Google saying that they don't remove blogs for that kind of thing and it can only be done through the US court system.

Yeah very low, but they guy made money.
Anyways, I blasted his site to some gay porn forums and adult blogs. Used his email address. Thought that would be funny.
I also sent op a pm. I would be more then willing to help you get some sites up in front of his. Though I do think he is a genius is some way for doing what he did, I also think it is wrong.

If this is all legit then man I feel for ya. Surely some adsense bots can autoclick his ads and get him banned in no time.
stareounut - Your not too techy right? What made you decide to come to this forum to try and solve the problem? Just wondering that's all.
If your gonna throw any more money at this problem, then I would recommend hiring someone to either build some blogs/websites to make sure this scammer doesn't show up on google or to use the money for a lawsuit.

So far I believe OP. I was taken by a similar scam about 7 years ago. No_muie is following the classic style of the confidence trickster. Pretend to be on the side of good and then secretly Rob people. Ask your self if some kid in Romania really has the best interests of all the people on the web at heart? The funny thing is he could probably set up a real blog fighting scammers and make money and get donations but this kind of person only knows one way and that is the BAD way.
(I AM real and my blog is real, but I'm NOT getting any donations...)

I am thinking stareounut is the scammer, just joined no proof bar one screen shotof an email which is easy to spoof!
I just chatted to no_muie who says the guy runs used car sites proporting to sell cars that do not exist. He has shut all but one down

I used to scam bait and believe no_muie more than I do the OP you should too before siding with a scammer. Scambaiting takes a lot of time and these guys work on their own accord pissed off with scammers. A lot that I knew were system admins so had time to kill whilst maintaining networks etc ...
Also don't assume no_muie is in Romania!!

you should attack his wallet.. 1) track all his sites if you can, and try to shut down all his money accounts (cpa/ad networks etc.) 2) shutdown his adsense acc: write a bot to click on his ads (or hire someone on fiverr..), scrape public proxies (elite...), and the work is done. 3) use duplicate content against him: copy & paste all his content on a new blog and start a massive backlink campaign to your new blog. if you know what you're doing, you may be able to make his blog disapear. (hard to do and not for the long run) you can do a lot of things.. (try to google "negative seo", this will also help you..)

This is the newest scam on the web, estorting money from people because of the bad press this one site gives them. Report his site to bloggger.com, who owns/opperates blogspot and he will be charged with a criminal claim by their corporate office.
I've seen this same thing in over a dozen cases in the last month from clients having their site reps damaged and being offered a buyout option to be removed.
You are in the right here and have all the leverage, as blogger will press charges and take it to court, as they have done the other scammers doing the same line of con. That is estortion, intimindation of threat within intent, as well as fraud for false claims against your site.
Blogger will take it down and post a retraction at the very least.
Tell them what is going on and they will bust him on it.
Also, I also recommend you write an article/post to all of the scam site directories about his site and what he is doing to you guys. Expose him, as he is trying to expose you.
